Ok, I take that back.

According the the battleblog, the official batlefield blog. The beta we are playing isn't even the same engine that Battlefield 3 will be using, as they have completely redone in.

"Just like normal procedure when releasing a game, the Open Beta has had long lead times due to testing, certification, and setting up. This means that the code you are now playing is actually quite early and not representative of the final game."




Yeah yeah I know. Don't be so quick to judge

Battlefield 3 Beta, concerns.

The Battlefield 3 beta is the buzz this week, But there are some major flaws.

First off, I do not believe this is a sequel to BF2, as I have played BF2 for 6 years, some of that professionally. Where are the grappling hooks? The zip-lines? The tear gas? And what is with players AND vehicles regenerating health? Yeah, what realism.

The beta is also full of flaws. This is not even a beta, more so a demo. This has me worried, As all the glitches and broken gameplay have to be fixed in a month. Lets just hope the developers are up to it.

League of Legends: Dominion Review

League of Legends: is a PC exculsive game. Dominion is first expansion to League of Legends. League of Legends is a free to play DotA style game.

Multiplayer- Dominion is extremly team based. It's vastley differnt from the original League of Legends format. Each individual player's importance is vastley increased, since it only takes one person to capture a tower. So grab some friends, work together and have a good time playing this unique game.

Graphics-The graphics of League of Lengends are ok. They're about equal to those of Starcraft II. The game is top down, but you can deffinatley tell whom's character is who.

Gameplay- The controls of League of Legends: Dominion are unchanged from the original, the objects and style of play, however, are vastley changed. Rather than simply trying to fight through waves of minions to destroy your enemies turrets, then inhibitors, and finally their nexus, you must now capture one of five turrets on a circular map. Your enemies nexus looses health as long as you control more of the turrets then them.Games in Dominion last roughly a half-hour.

Dead Island

Single Player- 7/10

Dead Island is relatively new, but there are massive problems with it.

Single player- I gave this a 7 because it gets stale quick. You are doing the same thing over and over again: getting something for someone/ doing something for someone. This makes the game boring quick, as killing zombies can only be fun for so long

Multiplayer- I gave this an 8 because with the addition of a friend it can make the game a little more fun, not much but it helps.

Graphics- The graphics of Dead Island look pretty good, just some missing textures, some buggy graphics and bad static meshes that bring it down to an 8

Gameplay- This is where Dead Island falls. The constant glitching, missing textures, and bad animations breaks the game. The only thing that Dead Island has going for it here is that it is an open world.

Dead Island is a decent zombie game. Buy it if you have the money, but don't save for months to buy it.

Gears Of War 3

Single player- 10/10
Multiplayer- 8/10
Graphics-10/10
Gameplay-8/10
Overall- 36/40

Gears Of War 3 is an xbox exclusive, and it is the last of the series. Gears Of War 3 brings amazing single player, and a dramatic conclusion to the series.

Single player- The single player in the gears series is amazing. In my oppion it has the best single player out there. It has great immersion and an amazing story line. Gears Of War 3 also has Horde and Beast mode. Making the single player aspect of the game that much better.

Multiplayer- Gears Of War 3 has great multiplayer. The only reason i'm giving it an 8 is because it is not noob friendly. At all. It is great if you have experience in the gears series, but if you don't it will be a huge headache. However, Horde and beast mode make the multiplayer really good.

Graphics- Lets face it. It looks beautiful.

Gameplay- the gampelay is good. But having a "one button does everything" is annoying. You could be running away and then go into cover, when you had no intentions of doing so.

Overall Gears Of war 3 is a great game, and a great finish to the series.
